Recycling and Waste Reduction

We have many services across the Woodcroft Community Centre to reduce waste to landfill, recycling at the Centre is for household quantities only​.

Services in the main foyer area:

• Beauty Products​ and Packaging waste - The full list of what can and can't be recycled   Collection boxes in the main foyer

• Mobile Phones - more info here   Collected at the Council Customer Relations Desk
• Light globes and tubes (outside room 1) - ALL packaging removed please   Collection boxes in the foyer outside room 1

In the Community Garden  (Swipe card required to access)

• Compost Caddys - we can offer composting for food scraps created on site.  
• Green Bins - Large items or bulk compostibles can be composted in the 2 large council green bins in the Community Garden.  

Clothing

• Our Upcycle Boutique is often looking for good quality clothing. Please call to check with reception prior to drop off, as we have limited storage on 8384 0070.
