Recycling and Waste Reduction
We have many services across the Woodcroft Community Centre to reduce waste to landfill, recycling at the Centre is for household quantities only.

Services in the main foyer area:
- Beauty Products and Packaging waste - The full list of what can and can't be recycled Collection boxes in the main foyer

- Light globes and tubes (outside room 1) - ALL packaging removed please Collection boxes in the foyer outside room 1
In the Community Garden (Swipe card required to access)
- Compost Caddys - we can offer composting for food scraps created on site. Ask for a Compost Caddy from reception to collect for our Compost Tumblers in the Community Garden.
- Green Bins - Large items or bulk compostibles can be composted in the 2 large council green bins in the Community Garden. We have larger waste diversion bins available for large events.
Clothing
- Our Upcycle Boutique is often looking for good quality clothing. Please call to check with reception prior to drop off, as we have limited storage on 8384 0070.
- Our Behind the Seams group can help you alter your clothes or make a fabric produce bag to reduce plastic use.
